Two Christmas attractions have been announced at historic Avebury.

Story time with St Nicholas will run on 28 and 29 November and 5,6, 12,13,19 and 20 December from 10.20am to 2.45pm.
The event is priced at £10 per child with booking essential, and a spokesperson said: "Meet St. Nicholas under the twinkling lights of the historic dovecote for a special story time this Christmas.
"Wearing green robes, inspired by the historic roots of the St Nicholas story, the winter season, and the landscape at Avebury, St Nicholas will read a story from a selection of classic tales and children’s favourites.
"The stories are ideal for children aged four to eight but older siblings are welcome too.
"At the end of the story, St Nicholas will give each child a small Christmas gift to take home."
Places can be booked via https://www.nationaltrust.org.uk/visit/wiltshire/avebury/events/ or by calling 0344 249 1895.
The other event so far announced, the Christmas Market, will be run on 28 and 29 November and 5,6, 12 and 13 December from 10am to 4pm, with free entry.
The spokesperson said: "Enjoy the atmosphere of the historic barn at Avebury as you browse the range of artisanal products on sale from local gift stalls, set against a backdrop of classic carols and folk songs.
"Card payment devices will be available, but we recommend bring cash if possible."
