St Mark’s Church are inviting everyone to raise a glass and celebrate summer at the St Benedict Beer Festival.
The festival takes place on Saturday 12 July 2025 from 12 noon to 10pm at St Mark’s Church. With great beer, live music, food, and fun, it’s the perfect local day out for families, friends, and beer lovers alike.
A spokesperson for the event said: “This year’s festival promises a flavour-packed lineup with at least 20 beers and ciders on tap, alongside soft drinks and snacks for all tastes.
“For a truly special treat, we’re unveiling a unique, one-off festival beer ‘Rev’d Up’ brewed exclusively for the occasion by The Rusty Garage Brewpub. Inspired by medieval brewing traditions, this pale ale offers a subtle blend of hops and herbs with a refreshingly low ABV of around 3.5–3.8%, and will be available only at the festival.”
Festival Highlights include 14 craft beers and 11 ciders on tap, soft drinks and snacks. There will be live music at 7pm from the amazing Kelly Sings Country, a raffle and a competition to win a tour of Arkell’s Brewery.
Entry is £12, which includes a souvenir festival glass, programme, and one half pint of beer, cider or soft drink.
Drinks are £2 per half pint, payable using tokens that can be purchased at the ticket desk. CAMRA members receive an extra half pint free on production of a valid membership card.
