The Big Picnic Festival to take place this September

The Big Picnic is back for 2021 - think less sitting in a bubble and more like SherstonFest of old - with Friday night/Saturday PM/Evening of fantastic live music on 3rd and 4th Sept in the pretty Cotswold village of Sherston near Malmesbury

A spokesman for the festival said: "So, me an Boris have had a chat and we reckon that by September we are all going to be back to “normal” - so I reckon it will be time to get into a field with your mates, have a cheeky cider or 2 and do the whole festival thing to celebrate!

"Now, not that I don’t trust our illustrious leader, but just to be on the safe side we are going to make it an outdoor event anyway with the same laid back “picnic” vibe that we had last year (hence “The Big Picnic”, see what we did there!?) but this year with a lot less restrictions on what you can and can’t do (hopefully – we will of course adhere to all guidelines in force at the time) - and note that if we do have to cancel due to Covid stuff we will refund the ticket price.

"And as a supporter from one of our previous events (remember The Boondocks Festival? or SherstonFest? or maybe The Big Picnic 2020? ) we are giving you first dibs on the 2021 event before we start promoting it to the great unwashed!

"Sound good? If so just click here and blag one of the remaining weekend tickets!

"I’m guessing you know the form by now but just to say there will of course be some great music on Friday night and all day/night on Saturday and this time with a licensed bar and some stuff to keep the little ones happy (and out of your hair!) during the day!

"And if you didn’t come to last years festival (which b.t.w. was nominated by Wiltshire Council as the best small festival of 2020 - now that’s possibly because it was the only small festival of 2020, but we are taking it!), anyway if you didn’t come last year, the setting is right in the heart of the beautiful Cotswold village of Sherston, now add in some great music, plus your mates and a sherbet or 2, seriously what’s not to like?

"So anyway - enough blather, the ticket link is here , and do the do sharpish as numbers are strictly limited to keep it cool and cosy!"
