Swindon singers Billy & Louie have announced 'You Are' as their first since making the finals as part of Team Tom on The Voice UK.
The track is billed as a moody, soulful evolution of their sound and image, marking a new chapter for the Swindon-born brothers.
'You Are' is the result of a creative collaboration with emerging songwriting trio Danny Burton, Christian Braid and platinum-selling artist Sandi Thom, known for her 2006 hit 'I Wish I Was a Punk Rocker (With Flowers in My Hair)'.
The single is accompanied by a striking cinematic music video inspired by the iconic opening title sequences of the James Bond films. Directed by local filmmaker Alex Beije of Golden Oak Productions, the video was shot on location at Sandridge Park, a historic manor house in Wiltshire.
Once a hotel, the venue has welcomed legendary guests including David Bowie, Bob Dylan, and Princess Margaret.
'You Are' introduces a more mature sound and image for Billy & Louie and sets the tone for an exciting new era. The release is the first in a series of upcoming singles leading up to their highly anticipated return to the Wyvern Theatre in Swindon on 3 September for their second headline concert.
The duo recently performed at Christ Church in Swindon as part of a fundraising event in support of Swindon-based mental health charity the Kelly Foundation, helping bring attention to the cause through their music.
