Blunsdon Community Shop are holding a 'Tea and Talk' event with the Chair of Age UK Wiltshire on Tuesday 23 April.
Richard Purchase, Chair of Age UK, Wiltshire, will be speaking at the event ,titled 'Supporting people in later life', at 2.30pm.
The Blunsdon Community Shop and Café is an accessible, inclusive, village community shop and café serving, supporting and involving the local community.
It is estimated that the organisation has had over 200 volunteers supporting their service to the community over the last 20 years.
Currently, they have over 40 volunteers who man the shop on a rota basis and deliver a daily support service to the village.
The community shop has celebrated its one year anniversary since opening the new shop and cafe and was recently awarded the Kings Award. It hosts regular Tea and Talk events on Tuesdays.
