A call has gone out to all bowling fans in Swindon as Hollywood Bowl looks to appoint a ‘Director of Fun’.
With work on the new family entertainment centre at Greenbridge Retail Park set to be completed this month, local bowling enthusiasts are being invited to apply.
Candidates will get to test out that the new centre offers the highest entertainment standards for local people to enjoy.
Successful applicants will start by testing the state-of-the-art bowling lanes with their high-tech scoring systems.
Nathan Barwick, Centre Manager at Hollywood Bowl Swindon, said: “Engaging the local community for the launch of our new centre is really important to us and what better way than to offer a unique job role to families and bowling enthusiasts.
"We’re eager to see who will step into this exciting new role and can’t wait to bring affordable fun to the area, offering family and friends a taste of modern LA.”
Hollywood Bowl describes itself as the UK’s leading ten-pin bowling and competitive socialising brand and is inviting candidates aged over 18 to apply online at https://tobc.typeform.com/to/JW6CDNWX, and the successful candidate will be able to bring a friend or family member with them for the experience.
Successful candidates will also receive one year’s worth of complimentary VIP bowling, enabling them to carry out this important role throughout the year, and ensuring the experience is always fun for all.
Applications are being accepted until Thursday 14 November, the lucky candidate will be selected and contacted by email on Friday 15 November and will need to be available on Friday 22 or Saturday 23 November to come to Swindon Hollywood Bowl for their prize.
The new £3.5 million family entertainment centre will open on Saturday 23 November and plans some grand opening offers including a game and a drink from only £5 all day Monday 25 to Wednesday 27 and before 6pm on Thursday 28 and Friday 29 November.
