Organisers of Classic Ibiza’s return to Bowood House on Friday 17 and Saturday 18 July have revealed another exciting upgrade to this year’s show.
Urban Soul Orchestra, conducted by Stephen Hussey, will be performing a total of 58 iconic dance tracks – the most-ever played in the concert’s 11-year history.
USO’s performance also includes eight completely new orchestrations and remixes of two firm Classic Ibiza crowd favourites.
The extended five-and-a-half-hour show will see USO deliver three distinct sets. You can check-out the entire set list on Classic Ibiza’s website.
Classic Ibiza’s Lisa Ward said: “Our biggest-ever set list is the cherry on the top of a massive Classic Ibiza party cake full of deliciousness!
"In the mix already is our longest-ever show, our largest-ever orchestra and even more guest vocals by London Community Gospel Choir.
"The only missing ingredient is our fabulous Bowoodaudience who we know will bring the sparkle when we see them in the summer.”
Fans can ease into the evening over picnics during the brand-new Chill-Out Set, where members of USO and Classic Ibiza debutant, DJ Meera, will be serving up laid-back interpretations of 10 classic ambient tracks.
They include Little Fluffy Clouds (The Orb), Teardrop (Massive Attack) and At The River (Groove Armada).
The energy dial then goes up a notch when USO and DJ Goldierocks take to the stage for the Ghost ShipSundowner Set.
For the first time, audiences will be able to witness the euphoric wall-of-sound created by the expanded 45-piece Urban Soul Orchestra, alongside the incredible guest vocals of London Community Gospel Choir.
They’ll be performing a total of 20 iconic tracks, including Killer (Adamski), Inner City Life (Goldie), and new orchestrations of Eple (Röyksopp) and Release The Pressure (Leftfield).
Then on to the evening’s main event – the Classic Ibiza Dance Set, which will be accompanied by an awe-inspiring laser and light show.
People are advised to make sure they are in the dance zone to see USO, DJ Goldierocks and LCGCperform a set packed full of 26 house classics, including new renditions of Something Goin’ On (Todd Terry), Hey Hey (Dennis Ferrer), Greece 2000 (Three Drives), On The Beach (YORK), Flaming June (BT) and Losing It (FISHER). New remixed versions of Insomnia (Faithless) and Sandstorm (Darude) will also feature.
The show will then draw to a rapturous crescendo with a two-track encore.
