Haydon Wick Parish Council are inviting youngsters to join them this May half term for three exciting activities.
A Bug House Workshop lets families turn ordinary tin cans into cute homes for garden insects, decorating them as bees and ladybirds.
A spokesperson said: “We’re also hosting a Sunflower Growing Challenge where you can plant seeds and watch them grow into impressive flowers.”
At the Skate Park, youngsters can transform their fence into colourful art through simple weaving techniques – no experience needed, just creativity! All materials are provided for these hands-on outdoor activities.
Plus, don’t miss the Multi-Sports Afternoon with BEST, where you can try different sports and connect with peers in a fun, supportive environment.
A spokesperson said: “Come make our community spaces more beautiful, learn about nature, and get active together!”
