Swindon's Wyvern is really getting into the spirit of the Year of the Pig by hosting a Chinese New Year Extravaganza next week.

A colourful display of Chinese cultural tradition is coming to Swindon's Wyvern Theatre on Friday 22 February.

Touring across the country to celebrate the biggest festive event on the Chinese calendar Chinese New Year Extravaganza is a unique festive spectacle featuring a team of performers showcasing amazing Chinese performing arts.

From the cheerful spirit of the auspicious Lion Dance, to the awe-inspiring contortion, the show is a colourful display of Chinese cultural tradition.



Witness the daring stunts of Chinese acrobatics alongside the magnificent 15-metre long Dragon Dance and more.



This colourful and action-packed show is the perfect entertainment for all ages to enjoy on this auspicious occasion. The actual Chinese New Year celebrations took place on Tuesday 5 February.
