Tickets went on sale last month for Classic Ibiza’s Anthems Tour, which is coming to the stunning grounds of Bowood House on Friday 16 and Saturday 17 July.
With early bird tickets having already sold-out, the show’s promoters have announced that for the first time the concert will feature two orchestral dance sets packed full of high-energy, uplifting house music. They have also confirmed the return of London Community Gospel Choir as very special guests.
Classic Ibiza’s Lisa Ward explains: “Our 2027 Anthems Tour does exactly what it says on the tin – expect non-stop, feel-good, anthemic dance music from the moment the full Urban Soul Orchestra take to the stage at 8pm. It’s going to be a case of all thriller, no filler, so I hope you’re ready to party Bowood!”
Performed by the 45-piece Urban Soul Orchestra and DJ Goldierocks, conducted by Stephen Hussey, the two dance sets will last a total of two-and-a-half-hours, in the overall five-and-a-half-hour concert programme. In previous years the show featured a “sundowner set” of more laidback tunes. Urban Soul Orchestra have been at the forefront of dance music for over 25 years, collaborating with the likes of Groove Armada, Robert Miles and Nightmares On Wax.
Classic Ibiza’s Lisa Ward adds: “We’re currently putting the finishing touches to curating the tracks for next summer, which is always so much fun. To give people a taste, we’ll definitely be performing anthems from the likes of ATB, David Morales, The Prodigy and SL2 in the first set, and then continuing that feel-good vibe into the second set with more stone-cold classics from Sash!, Energy 52, Tiësto and Underworld, to name but a few. And before anyone asks, of course we’ll be playing Insomnia!”
Performing once again alongside Urban Soul Orchestra on the Classic Ibiza Anthems Tour will be the incredible London Community Gospel Choir. Together, they’ll create a euphoric wall of sound, complete with soulful harmonies and soaring vocals. LCGC has become one of the world’s most in demand choirs, gracing the stage at Glastonbury, the Grammys, the Royal Albert Hall and Pacha Ibiza. They have also recorded with a veritable who’s who of popular music, including Adele, Blur and Madonna. Further guest artists joining the Classic Ibiza Anthems Tour will be announced soon.
London Community Gospel Choir’s Vernetta Lynch says: “We’re so excited to be reuniting with the Classic Ibiza team next summer. We had so much fun on stage and with the amazing Bowood audience last year – we can't wait to do it all over again!”
