Classic Ibiza at Bowood tomorrow - Saturday, 24 July - has been cancelled due to a severe weather warning.

Revival Productions, who organise the show, says it has been in close consultation with the Met Office all week to monitor the situation.

Following a meeting at 1pm today, the decision was made to safeguard the audience, performers and crew due to a high possibility of heavy rain and lightning tomorrow evening.

Ticket holders have a limited opportunity to transfer their tickets to this evening's performance, where there is limited availability. The venue opens at 5.30pm and the music is scheduled to start at 6.30pm.

Classic Ibiza organiser Lisa Ward said: “We have been speaking to the Met Office all week and until today it looked likely that we would be able to go ahead on Saturday. Unfortunately, our fair isle’s weather gods had different ideas!

"We are devastated for the people who have waited two years to see the show again, but we have made this decision to protect them, our amazing performers and crew. Nothing is more important than that.

“For those people able to attend tonight, I would advise them to visit our ticket transfer form quickly while there is availability. The show is amazing this year and we are set for a lovely, fine evening.”
