Dobbies Swindon in Hyde Road has opened its highly anticipated Christmas shop.
It gives customers the chance to browse its 2024 festive collections and experience what is billed as Christmas in every sense.
Customers can immerse themselves in Dobbies’ festive experience, engaging all their senses.
Whether it’s the warm fragrance of fresh Christmas trees and scented pinecones, the sounds of Christmas music and jingle bells, the eye-catching sights of twinkling lights and beautiful baubles, the taste of Christmas with delicious seasonal treats, or Dobbies’ interactive experiences and events, the garden centre promises that it will be bringing the magic of Christmas to life.
Dobbies’ Head of Brand Kirsty Rockey said: “Our Swindon customers love coming to Dobbies to get into the festive spirit, and this year we hope to give them an immersive experience of Christmas in every sense.
“From fragrant trees and sparkly lights to eye-catching baubles, great value gifts and delicious festive food and drink in our restaurants and coffee shops, there’s so much to explore and enjoy.
"We can’t wait to officially open the Christmas shop and share the new collections.”
Some 50,000 real Christmas trees and 30,000 faux trees are making their way to Dobbies stores across the UK as an expansive selection of products from the garden centre’s 2024 festive collections go on display.
This also includes 137,000 string lights, 100,000 rolls of wrapping paper, 350,000 Christmas cards and 40,000 Poinsettias.
In addition to launching its Christmas shop, Dobbies’ Swindon store is also gearing up for a busy schedule of festive events, starting on 21 November and ranging from Santa Paws to Meet Santa to Santa’s Breakfast.
