Dobbies' free Little Seedlings Club are to explore Autumn at the garden centre in Swindon's Hyde Road.
The centre is inviting young gardeners to discover ‘Autumn Colours’ at the free-to-attend kids’ gardening workshop, taking place on Sunday 6 September.
The month’s Little Seedlings Club will be all about the changing seasons and the vibrant colours that appear as Autumn arrives.
Dobbies’ Event Programme Manager Hannah Stephen said: “September’s Little Seedlings Club is a great opportunity for children to embrace the changing season and discover how plants and wildlife adapt as Autumn arrives.
"It’s a fascinating topic that encourages young minds to explore and appreciate the natural world around them.
“Our free ‘Autumn Colours’ workshop is packed with fun activities, hands-on learning and engaging discussions.
"We’re looking forward to welcoming children into the Swindon storeand helping them discover the magic of autumn.”
Children will be given the opportunity to discover more about Autumn colour displays in nature, how plants and animals prepare for the winter ahead, and take part in games and hands-on activities to help learn about autumn wildlife.
They will have the chance to plant their own daffodil bulb to take home for flowering in spring.
Dobbies’ monthly Little Seedlings Club workshops at the Swindon store offer children the opportunity to take part in a mixture of hands-on learning and playful exploration.
The workshops cover a range of seasonal topics designed to be fun and engaging for kids to learn about nature and wildlife.
