Free bowling for 'Hollywood' residents as Hollywood Bowl celebrates the Oscars

Swindon's Hollywood Bowl is offering a free game residents of streets named after Hollywood as it celebrates the Oscars.

Hollywood Bowl is rolling out the red carpet in celebration of the 97th Academy Awards.

Anyone who lives on a Hollywood Road, Lane, Street, Avenue, Crescent or Mews is eligible. 

 

Between Monday 3 and Thursday 6 March, any guests who live on a street with the same name as Tinseltown will get a free game of bowling. 

 

Customers who can prove that where they live shares the same name where celebrity icons and legends of film come together to celebrate the Oscars can enjoy a complimentary game at any of Hollywood Bowl’s family entertainment centres across the country. 

 

This includes the Hollywood Bowl which opened last year in Greenbridge.

 

Dave Williams, Operations Director at Hollywood Bowl, said: "We’re bringing the glitz, glamour and Hollywood celebrations to all our UK centres this awards season.

 

"We share our name with the iconic Los Angeles neighbourhood, so whether you live on Hollywood Lane in Birmingham or Kent, Hollywood Road in London, or Hollywood Crescent in Newcastle, residents across the country can join in the Oscars celebrations with a complimentary game of bowling on us.” 

 

Walk-in customers receive a free game for themselves when they show proof of their Hollywood named address, whilst pre-booked games on the day will get the star treatment of either a VIP upgrade, or a voucher for a free game voucher in the future. 

 

From Hollywood Lane to the bowling lanes, customers can continue the fun in the amusement areas full of iconic arcade games. Customers can head to the modern American-style bar and diner to enjoy plenty of delicious, affordable food and drink to top off celebrations.

 

Customers can bowl in their own flat, closed toed shoes, and should sign up for the VIP mailing list to receive offers and the latest news.   

 

The offer is valid in all Hollywood Bowl centres across the country, including the centre in Greenbridge, from Monday 3 March up to and including Thursday 6 March.
