Comedian and presenter, Joel Dommett, is returning to his stand-up roots with a brand-new tour for 2025, and will be performing at the Wyvern Theatre on 23 May.

Having recently been announced as the host of the upcoming series on ITV2, I’m A Celebrity…Unpacked, the award-winning comedian is preparing to make an eagerly anticipated return to the comedy circuit with his biggest tour to date.

Following his 2022 Unapologetic tour, Joel is back where he belongs with a brand new stand-up show. Expect glamorous tales from behind the camera and less glamorous anecdotes of first-time fatherhood. Despite it all, Joel remains a charming, exhausted, happy idiot.

As one of the nation’s most familiar faces on television, Joel has established himself as one of the UK’s most trusted and beloved presenters and a firm favourite in UK households.

Having fronted five hugely successful series of the smash-hit The Masked Singer, along with two series of its spin-off, The Masked Dancer, and hosting The Masked Singer Live tour across arenas.

Recently, he took the reins of the hosting duties for Survivor on BBC One, reviving the classic format with his signature style. He also hosted the Red Nose Day for Comic Relief in 2024, regularly co-hosted This Morning and made his return to the National Television Awards at The O2 for a fourth year running.

Joel Dommett said: "I'M GOING ON TOUR! I’m leaving your telly box and coming to you, heading up and down the country with my brand-new show, Happy Idiot.  I’ll be telling glamorous tales from behind the camera and less glamorous anecdotes of first-time fatherhood. It’s going to be fun and you should come!”

Joel has also recently hosted BBC's Live at the Apollo and can be seen on Amazon Prime's 'Backstage with Katherine Ryan' and Netflix's 'Comedian's of the World'.

As well as touring stand-up Joel released his first book It’s Not Me, It’s Them in 2018, which recounts his past relationships in pursuit of love. Alongside his wife Hannah Cooper, he also co-hosts the weekly hit podcast, Never Have I Ever that sees the married couple act on unusual suggestions from listeners and each other, to experience something they’ve never done before. This year Joel also presented the second series of game show In With A Shout on ITV.

Tickets will be available via presale on Thursday 7 November at 11am, with general on sale from Friday 8 November at 11am.

Tickets will be available from https://www.joeldommett.com/
