The Puddle Ducks Oxfordshire swimming group is expanding.
The Wiltshire in Royal Wootton Bassett is one of three newly-announced extra venues.
Since opening in 2011, the school has experienced rapid growth by providing innovative baby and child swimming lessons, and currently works at 13 pools across Wiltshire, Oxfordshire Gloucestershire, teaching over 1000 children.
In the UK, the latest statistics from the Water Incident Database (WAID) show there were 226 accidental fatalities in 2022. 105 were during June, July and August, making the expansion well timed as we head into summer.
Owner of Puddle Ducks Oxfordshire Beccy Stenson said: “We are delighted to announce the expansion of our services that will allow us to meet growing demand.
“As we head towards summer when children are increasingly around water, it’s great to be able to get more children from across our local area into the pool, learning this essential life skill.
“We are now able to offer classes at The Wiltshire in Royal Wootton Bassett, Coldstone House in Ascott Under Wychwood and from the 19th of April, also at the Oxford Thames Hotel in Oxford. We can’t wait to meet lots of new families and teach even more of our local children how to swim!."
Puddle Ducks takes an innovative approach to swimming, employing highly trained teachers who can identify a child’s level of ability and adapt lessons and activities accordingly.
Their Baby and Pre School classes at The Wiltshire take place on Mondays and Tuesdays.
