Organisers have announced that there will be no fireworks display this November.
Swindon and North Wiltshire Scouts annual Firework and Bonfire Spectacular at Lydiard Park will not be running this year but plans to return in 2022.
The event was due to take place on Saturday, 6 November at 5:30pm.
The following statement was issued by one of the event's organisers: "It is with greatest sadness that we have to announce that this years' spectacular has been cancelled due to multiple factors.
"We would like to thank our many supporters and volunteers. Have no fear, we will commence planning for 2022 once the new year begins. We wish you an enjoyable and safe Bonfire night."
