Newbury Racecourse’s Summer Evening Series in partnership with Hits Radio has begun.

The series, in which racegoers can enjoy live music, themed food and drink and a DJ afterparty as well as evening racing, continues on Thursday 10 July with ‘The Wild Wild West’ before rounding out on Thursday 24 July with ‘The Ibiza Beach Club’.
The return of the popular series, which first featured at the racecourse in 2023, brings the curtain up on summer at Newbury with four big music racedays in the diary between July and September to complement this month’s Summer Evening Series with Hits Radio.
A spokesperson said: "On Thursday 10 July, ‘The Wild Wild West’ rolls into Newbury, complete with line dancing classes, a rodeo bull and a western sharpshooting game before the award-winning country DJ, Rattlesnake Johnny, takes to the stage to host the evening’s afterparty.
"The series closes in style on Thursday 24 July with the Racecourse transported to the white isle for an Ibiza-themed evening with cocktails, a live saxophonist, beach party acts and an after party to rival the Balearic Island itself."

Friday 15 August: Bjorn Again deliver Abba’s greatest hits
Saturday 16 August: Visit Malta Hungerford Day with chart-topping electronic trio Clean Bandit
Saturday 20 September: Dubai Duty Free International Weekend with James Bay, celebrating the 10th anniversary of multi-million selling debut album ‘Chaos and The Calm’
Harry Walklin, Marketing Director at Newbury Racecourse, said: “The demand we’re seeing for the series suggests fans share our excitement and with the sun shining we look forward to welcoming friends, families and colleagues alike to the Racecourse this summer.’’
