The firm is the South West’s largest taxi and private hire vehicle operator.

The family festival returns to Lydiard Park on 29 and 30 July, with the event space trebled to allow for more exhibitors and visitors after last year saw over 30,000 people from across Swindon come together.

The Farm and 911 are headlining on Saturday and Sunday respectively, while this year sees the addition of a car showcase of classic cars from Swindon Rod & Custom, along with over 50 stalls and traders.

Event organisers are introducing low-cost ticketing for the first time this year, hoping to raise even more for chosen charity Julia’s House Children’s Hospice.

Jack Price, Regional Director of Veezu, said: “We’re so happy to be able to sponsor Pimms in the Park this year, helping them to host an even bigger event for the local community after their incredible success last year.

"It’s great to see such a successful event bringing the community together, and we can’t wait to see everybody there again this year.”

Veezu is the main sponsor this year, helping cover the cost of the main stage, marquees, trestle tables and chairs for the event. They stepped in to donate to the worthy cause through their community support programme ‘Funded by Veezu’. The programme is a way in which local not-for-profit initiatives can apply for grants between £500 and £1000.

Debra Collins, co-event organiser of Pimms in the Park, said: “We’re delighted to have Veezu on board this year as sponsors, helping us further expand our capabilities.

"With three stages hosting live music and over 50 traders attending, Pimms in the Park 2023 is set to be a fantastic weekend of family fun.”

Graham Stobbs, Co-event Organiser of Pimms in the Park, said: “With Veezu’s sponsorship of the main stage and our other fantastic sponsors, all proceeds are able to go to Julia’s House Children’s Hospice, helping children and their families in need in the local area.”

Advance tickets cost £2 and tickets will be available on the day for £5. People can visit https://www.skiddle.com/whats-on/Swindon/Lydiard-Park/Pimms-In-The-Park-2023/36182303/ for more information.
