Home seekers in Swindon will soon have more choice thanks to the upcoming release of Shared Ownership homes, courtesy of new homes provider Bromford.

Just off Homington Avenue, the Badbury Park development comprises a blend of one- and two-bedroom houses and apartments built by five-star developer Redrow Homes.

The next phase of releases later this year will include the Avon style home, a two-bedroom terraced house available through Shared Ownership.

Bromford Shared Ownership gives first-time buyers and those who do not currently own a property the opportunity to secure a newly built home with Bromford.

Homebuyers pay a mortgage on the share they own, and pay rent on the remaining share, meaning only a smaller deposit is required. Then, when the time is right, the homeowners can purchase more shares through a process called staircasing, gradually increasing the ownership of the home.

Designed with flexibility and modern living at its core, the Avon will greet its new residents into a welcoming hallway, with a fitted kitchen immediately to the right and a cosy living-dining area to the rear allowing for plenty of natural light. Two separate storage areas and a downstairs bathroom complete the ground floor.

Upstairs is home to yet more space for storage, as well as a main bedroom to the rear separated by the landing from a smaller bedroom to the front, which could easily be converted into a nursery, dressing room or home office, with the stylish family bathroom completing the home.

Karon O’Callaghan, Sales Manager at Bromford, said: “The homes from the previous phase here at Badbury Park were incredibly popular, and we expect there to be a lot of interest around the new homes at this development.

“Our partnership with Redrow means the homes are built to an incredibly high standard, with Badbury Park in a super location to meet the needs of a variety of homebuyers.

“We strongly encourage Swindon residents to get in touch with our friendly sales team to avoid missing out on a fantastic home.”

Swindon lies on the M4 corridor, 71 miles to the west of London and 36 miles to the east of Bristol. The Cotswolds are situated just to the town's north and the North Wessex Downs to its south. The large town in Wiltshire is just 48 miles to Oxford, and 33 miles to Cheltenham meaning there’s plenty of variety to be found when buying a home in Swindon.
