Step Farm will be inviting members of the public to watch the cows take their first steps into the open fields for the Spring Turn Out on Saturday 20 April.
The gates open at 8am with cows entering the fields at approximately 9am.
Visitors will be invited to meet, greet and pet the 300-plus cows and calves up close, before watching them venture into the fields for the first time since winter.
Step Farm works in partnership with 10 Green Bottles, an organic fresh milk delivery service. Visitors will have the opportunity to learn all about Step Farm, the cows and day-to-day farm life, as well as 10 Green Bottles.
Bacon butties, tea and coffee will be avaliable to purchase (cash only) and there will also be fresh, organic milk to sample.
A spokesperson for the farm said: "There is plenty of parking in the farm fields although we ask you to car share where possible and wellies are definitely advisable! Buggies and wheelchairs may struggle on uneven/damp surfaces and grass areas."
Step farm is located 1 mile from Faringdon on the Lechlade road at SN7 8BH.
