Having skipped a year in 2020 because of that pesky pandemic, Swindon Shuffle, the town's original music festival, is back with a bang this year.

This year's festival will be taking place slightly later than in previous years just to ensure that covid has properly been shown the door and it takes place from 9 September to 12 September at venues across Old Town including The Beehive, The Victoria, The Tuppenny, The Hop and The Castle.

And this year they're going all out to make sure that it's the biggest Shuffle that we've ever seen with more acts than you can shake a very large stick at.

The great and the good of Swindon's music scene will be showing up as well as some guests from near and far.

Ones to look out for include the ever brilliant and Swindon's very own indie pop outfit Flour Babies, the town's ever soulful reggae outfit Erin Bardwell Trio, and Salisbury's always fantastic Middlenamekill.

Talk in Code, who have been going from strength to strength over the last few years with their anthemic indie will also be giving their all and if you like things a tiny bit more compositional you could pop in and see Buswell & Nyberg.

If all that wasn't enough Swindon's favourite trouser wearer Jim Blair will also be giving you some very special bluegrass and Black Sheep Apprentice will be on hand to give you the full Skiddy experience.
