Theatre company to bring gripping psychological thriller to Swindon Central Library

Darkroom Theatre Company has announced its latest production.

t will stage 'The Wasp' by Morgan Lloyd Malcolm at Swindon Central Library on 11,12 and 13 April, with the doors opening at 6.30pm and performances starting at 7.30pm.
A gripping psychological thriller, 'The Wasp' delves into themes of power, revenge, and the consequences of choices made in the past. 
The play follows the intense reunion between two old school friends, Carla and Heather, whose lives have taken vastly different paths. As they confront each other, dark secrets and bitter truths emerge, leading to a chilling climax.
Darkroom Theatre Company's rendition promises a visceral and thought-provoking experience, highlighting the complexities of female relationships and the enduring scars of childhood trauma.
"We are delighted to bring 'The Wasp' to the stage in Swindon," said Oli Webb, Artistic Director of Darkroom Theatre Company. "Morgan Lloyd Malcolm's powerful script offers a gripping exploration of human nature, how our past haunts us, and how far we are willing to go to find peace."
The production will feature a talented cast of performers including Yeva Deli, a Lithuanian Actor based in Swindon, who takes on the role of Heather, and Cerys Hodgkin, a performing arts educator and actor, portraying Carla. 
Their nuanced performances promise to bring depth and authenticity to the characters' tumultuous journey.
