Dressability

Swindon residents living with disabilities, mobility challenges or long-term health conditions are being encouraged to discover the support offered by local charity, Dressability.

The charity provides clothing adaptations and alterations designed to help people dress more easily, comfortably, and independently. Dressability supports adults and children, by adapting clothing to help solve everyday challenges: from replacing buttons and zips with easier-to-manage magnetic or Velcro fastenings, altering garments for postural or limb differences to adapting clothing for wheelchair users. Solutions like these make a vast difference to daily life and confidence.

Clients are welcome to visit our fully accessible office in West Swindon or alternatively we are pleased to offer home visits. As a registered charity, our service is generously subsidised to ensure alterations are affordable for all who need them.
