Man arrested for Toothill stabbing

Officers investigating a stabbing in Toothill, Swindon, earlier this year have made an arrest.

In the afternoon of May 10, they were called to an address in Oakham Close following a report that a man had been stabbed. 

The victim – a man in his 30s – suffered three stab wounds. He was taken to hospital for further treatment. 

Officers from Swindon CID have been conducting extensive enquiries and have now arrested a 38-year-old man from Swindon on suspicion of GBH with intent.

He is currently in custody for further questioning. 

Enquiries are ongoing.
