Home Bargains will be coming to Swindon as their latest store opens on Hobley Drive in Stratton this Saturday (17 June).
The national retailer has grown from a family owned business that started off in Liverpool almost 42 years ago. Tom and Joe Morris, brothers and owners, have decided that they wish to expand the company and have started to venture south, opening stores in Truro, Bodmin, Bristol, to name but a few.
Fiona Trace, the new store manager, said: "I am privileged and honoured to be given the role of Store Manager. I'm very passionate about Home Bargains as I've shopped plenty of times in the past with them myself. They sell top branded products but at bottom prices, anything from stationery to furnishings."
The new Home Bargains store has reportedly created 58 jobs in the Stratton area, and will be the first outlet in Swindon when it is officially opened by the Mayor on Saturday.
