Pride for New College as they secure highly distinguished title.

After a four day inspection by assessors, the New College Swindon have been re-awarded the matrix Standard Accreditation.

The matrix Standard provides recognition of an organisation’s high standards of information, advice and guidance delivery in a Further Education setting.

It is the first time since the merge of New College Swindon and Swindon College in 2020 that the college have received the award. It comes with inspections taking place every three years alongside annual continuous improvement checks.

Carole Kitching, Principal and CEO of New College Swindon, said: “We are delighted to have been re-awarded the accreditation, achieving the matrix Standard recognises the hard work of all staff to make the College a supportive and informative place of education.”

Achieving the standard involves meeting an assessment process measured against the matrix Standard’s four main elements: leadership and management; resources; service delivery; and continuous quality improvement.

Roger Chapman, Head of the matrix Service for The Growth Company said: “This is a fantastic achievement for New College Swindon and I would like to congratulate the team on their success.
