Wiltshire Police are appealing for witnesses following a robbery at the Co-Op store in Aldbourne in the early hours of yesterday morning.

Between 1.20am and 1.30am yesterday, 16 November, three unknown offenders entered the store and stole cash and cigarettes. They then left in a car.

Two members of staff were working in the shop at the time and, although shaken, were unhurt.

Det Sgt Adrian Bray said:  "We would like to speak to anyone who may have heard or seen anything suspicious at the time.

"In particular we would like to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the robbery or managed to capture it on CCTV, a mobile phone or dash cam; especially if driving through or near the village around this time.  Perhaps you saw the vehicle drive off?

"We'd also like to hear from anyone who may have noticed anyone acting suspiciously in the area beforehand.

"If you can help in anyway, please call us on 101 quoting crime reference number 54200114103."

Alternatively, people can report anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
