Nearly 6,000 visitors were welcomed by Museum & Art Swindon between its opening last July and the end of the year.

Located on the first floor of the Civic Offices on Euclid Street, the venue is the new home of Swindon's historic artefacts and art, including the collection of 20th century British art which has long been acclaimed as the finest outside London.
There is no charge for admission.
Since it opened on 9 July, Museum & Art Swindon has hosted a broad range of art exhibitions including the current Hardy’s Wessex and Un/Common People showcases as well as proudly displaying the history of Swindon.
Artefacts on display trace the history of the Swindon area from the dawn of life on earth to the modern era.
A spokesperson said: "New exhibitions are set to arrive later this year, focusing on new artwork and a deeper dive into Swindon’s Roman and prehistoric past, but there’s still time to enjoy the current offerings before they disappear."
