Swindon Police are appealing for a potential witness in a sexual assault case to come forward.
A teenaged girl was attacked in Faringdon Road on Tuesday, 2 May.
A police spokesperson said: "The girl was walking down the road shortly after 4pm when she became aware of a man following her. He approached her from behind and then touched her inappropriately over her clothing.
"The assault was witnessed by a male member of the public who called out, at which point the suspect left the scene.
"We would like to hear from the man who witnessed the incident or any other members of the public who were in the area at the time who might be able to help identify the person responsible."
People with information are asked to call the police on 101 and quote log 54230047007.
