Swindon Police have released an image of a man following an attempted robbery in the Princes Street car park earlier this month.

On 4 January 4, shortly after 7am, a man was sitting in his van while the window was defrosting.

His door was opened and he was threatened by an unknown suspect to hand over the keys.

There was a short scuffle and the suspect left in the direction of the railway station.

The police believe the man pictured may be able to help with their enquiries.

He is described as white, aged between 25 and 35, of medium build, and around 6ft tall, with a dark moustache and stubble.

Anyone with information is asked to contact 101 quoting reference number 54250001096.
