Healthwatch Swindon and the NHS have teamed up to organise a Swindon Diabetes Awareness Morning.
It will be held on Saturday, 7 October from 9-11.30am at Swindon Town Football Club Foundation Park, the County Ground.
The event is described as a morning full of information, advice and support for people living with diabetes and their families, together with those who live with borderline pre-diabetes.
Its aim is to help people manage the condition and make the best lifestyle choices and secure the best health outcomes.
Those who attend will be invited to meet professionals involved in diabetes care, learn more about the condition and secure advice on how best to manage it.
Free refreshments will be provided, and there will be raffle prizes on the day.
