Bath Road closed at 11pm last night after police swoop in to try and catch burglars

Police cordoned off Bath Road in Old Town last night (26/5) as they responded to a reported burglary.

Earlier that evening officers carried out a warrant for a wanted person at a property at around 6.30pm yesterday in the same road.
The person was not located and enquires are continuing to locate them.
Later that evening, around 11pm officers also responded to reports of a burglary in process at a property in Bath Road. This resulted in the closure of that road whilst the operation was going on.
Enquiries are continuing and no arrests have been made as yet.
