A 13-year-old boy was left with head injuries in a hammer attack before his bike was stolen.

The man wielding the weapon was in his 40s and he was accompanied by another man.
Swindon Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident, which was reported just before 1.30pm yesterday - 27 May - and happened in Charlton Close, Penhill.
A police spokesperson said: "The teenager has been taken to hospital to be treated for a head injury.
"The suspect is described as being a white male, in his 40s, with a ginger beard and wearing a black puffer jacket. He was with a younger male, aged in his 20s, with blonde hair and wearing a dark coloured tracksuit."
The bike is a black Carrera with red handlebars and red pedals, and the police would like to hear from anyone who has any information that could help with their enquiries.
Those with information can call 101, quoting log number 133 of 27 May. Alternatively, they can contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
