The Brunel Shopping Centre is now complete with inflatable grotto for Santa Meet and Greets, Christmas trees, snow, and a festive backdrop for the 'perfect selfie.'

Members of the public are being invited to head through the lit archways, into a Winter Wonderland setting every weekend in the build up to Christmas at the Brunel.

Santa has arrived in his Grotto, with his Elf helper (which started from Saturday 26 November), and families can pay them a visit.

The Winter Wonderland will also be home to The Grinch on Saturday 10 December. There will also be an opportunity for people to grab a photo with the famous festive beast.

Additionally, Buddy the Elf will be also popping along for some Christmas fun on National Elf Day - which wil take place on Friday 2 December, in association with the Alzheimer's Association. The Association will have represenatives who will also be available to meet and greet in the centre.

On Sunday 11 December, there will be festive face painting and on Thursday 22 December, there will be a chance to meet the busy elves for some festive crafts, and write the perfect letter to Santa.

A spokesperson for the event added: "Festive local choirs will also be in the Centre every Saturday in December to spread their festive cheer on passers-by!"

Those interested can keep an eye on all festive events at the Brunel Shopping Centre via their social media channels or can visit their website at: https://www.thebrunel.co.uk/free-christmas-fun/

People can also download the letter to Santa template, which can be posted in one of The Brunel’s festive North Pole special post boxes.
