South Swindon MP Sir Robert Buckland has been appointed Secretary of State for Wales by Prime Minister Boris Johnson.

Sir Robert served as Justice Secretary in Mr Johnson's Cabinet until he was dismissed in a reshuffle last autumn.
The announcement came less than 24 hours after Sir Robert told a national newspaper that the embattled Prime Minister no longer had his support.
Mr Johnson is expected to announce his resignation as Conservative Party leader shortly, with many political commentators suggesting he will remain in office until a new leader is elected in the autumn.
However, opponents are calling on the Prime Minister to leave office immediately.
