Three arrested following burglary in Stratton St Margaret

Three people have been arrested in connection with a burglary in Stratton St Margaret, Swindon.

At approximately 9.45pm on September 11, a house in Chamberlain Road was broken in to and gold jewellery worth thousands of pounds was stolen.

The Swindon Burglary Unit has been carrying out extensive enquiries and have now arrested three men – one aged in his 20s and two aged in their 30s from Swindon on suspicion of burglary.

Two of these men remain in custody for questioning while one of the men has been released on bail while enquiries are ongoing.

Police would urge anyone who saw or heard any suspicious activity in the Chamberlain Road area overnight on September 11 to call 101 and quote crime reference number 54230096196.
