Swindon's Bus Company has issued special advice passengers as Storm Ciaran heads north from the South Coast.
The firm says its team will be working as hard as possible to minimise disruption, and will strive to operate all services unless it becomes unsafe to do so.
General Manager Andrew Sherrington said: "With widespread disruption expected with the arrival of Storm Ciarán, we are urging our customers to plan ahead and use our app or website to track their buses.
"We will also be updating our social media channels with the service status of our routes on a regular basis.
“Our team will be working hard to operate all services across our region, unless it becomes unsafe for us to do so - or the roads are impassable. We advise our customers to expect delays and disruption to services throughout the day.
"We thank them for their understanding and hope they stay safe throughout the duration of the storm.” Andrew Sherrington, Swindon’s Bus Company general manager."
The company's website is at www.swindonbus.co.uk and includes the latest service updates.
