A man has been charged with wounding with intent following an incident on Thames Avenue on Tuesday, 4 May.
Lewis Butterfield, 28, of White Eagle Road, Haydon End, Swindon, appeared before Swindon Magistrates’ Court this morning - 7 May - and has been remanded in custody to appear at Swindon Crown Court on Friday, 11 June.
The victim remains in a critical condition at John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford, with a head injury.
