Due to what appears to be a burst water pipe Commercial Road is currently closed up to and including Newhall Street.
Thames Water and Swindon Borough Council are on scene and the road is being assessed to see if there is any under surface damage before it can be re-opened.
This closure is likely to cause some knock on delays in the Faringdon Road, Station Road, Kingshill Road and Victoria Road areas.
