The latest report from NHS England has revealed that there have been no further deaths reported at Great Western Hospital from coronavirus in the last 24 hours. This is the 22nd day in a row that there have been no further deaths. This means the coronavirus death toll at Great Western Hospital since the outbreak began remains at 125. These figures are correct up to 4pm yesterday.
As of 4.13pm today there have been 17 new confirmed coronavirus cases reported in the last 24 hours in Swindon, meaning the total has risen to 828 confirmed cases since the start of the outbreak. In the last seven days there have been 55 new confirmed cases in Swindon. In Wiltshire there has been one new case in the past 24 hours, meaning the number of people who have tested positive in Wiltshire has risen to 1,286. This means that in the last seven days there have been 19 new confirmed cases in Wiltshire. These figures are split by local authority.
As of 9am on 29 July, 301,455 people have tested positive for coronavirus in the UK. This is a rise of 763 positive tests in the last 24 hours.
As of 5pm on 28 July, of those tested positive for coronavirus in the UK, 45,961 have died across all settings. This is an increase of 83 since the day before.
