Feb 13 Update - Three further coronavirus deaths at GWH

The latest report from NHS England has revealed that three deaths from covid have been reported at Great Western Hospital in the last 24 hours. It is one day since the last such deaths were reported. According to the data, one of the deaths occurred on February 12, one on February 11 and one on February 10. This means the coronavirus death toll at Great Western Hospital since the start of the outbreak has risen to 288. These figures are correct up to 4pm yesterday.

As of 4pm today there have been 27 new confirmed coronavirus cases reported in the last 24 hours in Swindon, meaning the total has risen to 10,049 confirmed cases since the start of the outbreak. In the last seven days there have been 224 new confirmed cases in Swindon. In Wiltshire there have been 93 new cases in the past 24 hours, meaning the number of people who have tested positive in Wiltshire is 15,417. This means that in the last seven days there have been 574 new confirmed cases in Wiltshire. These figures are split by local authority. Please note that these new cases are the figures reported by Public Health England and do not take into account delays in the return of positive test results.

As of 9am on 13 February, 4,027,106 people have tested positive for coronavirus in the UK. This is a rise of 13,308 positive tests in the last 24 hours.

As of 5pm on 12 February, of those tested positive for coronavirus in the UK who died within 28 days of their test, 116,908 have died across all settings. This is an increase of 621.
