No further coronavirus deaths at GWH for fourth day in a row

The latest report from NHS England has revealed that there has been no further deaths reported at Great Western Hospital from coronavirus in the last 24 hours. This is the fourth day in a row that there has been no further deaths. This means the coronavirus death toll at Great Western Hospital since the outbreak began remains at 125. These figures are correct up to 5pm yesterday.

As of 6.20pm today there has been one new confirmed coronavirus case in the last 24 hours in Swindon meaning the total has risen to 748 confirmed cases since the start of the outbreak. This means that in the last seven days there have been 12 new confirmed cases in Swindon. In Wiltshire there has been one new case, meaning the amount of people who have tested positive in Wiltshire has risen to 1,248. These figures are split by local authority.

As of 9am on 11 July, 288,953 people have tested positive for coronavirus in the UK. This is a rise of 820 positive tests since the day before.

As of 5pm on 10 July, of those tested positive for coronavirus in the UK, 44,798 have died across all settings. This is an increase of 148 since the day before.
