One further coronavirus death at Great Western Hospital as national toll rises by 100

The latest report from NHS England has revealed that there has been one further death reported at Great Western Hospital from coronavirus in the last 24 hours. This is the second day in a row that a death has been reported meaning the coronavirus death toll at Great Western Hospital since the outbreak has risen to 124. These figures are correct up to 5pm yesterday.

As of 3.55pm today there has been no new confirmed coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours in Swindon meaning the total remains at 467 since the start of the outbreak. The last confirmed case in Swindon was on Monday. In Wiltshire there has been a rise of of one more case meaning the amount of people that have tested positive in Wiltshire remains at 550. These figures are split by local authority.

UK-wide as of 9am on 27 June, there have been 9,067,577 tests, with 155,359 tests on 26 June.

310,250 people have tested positive. A rise of 890 in the last 24 hours.

As of 5pm on 26 June, of those tested positive for coronavirus in the UK, across all settings, 43,514 have died. A rise of 100 in the last 24 hours.
