Two more deaths at GWH from Covid-19

The latest figures released by NHS England show that there have been two more deaths reported in the last 24 hours at Swindon's Great Western Hospital bringing the total to 117 since the outbreak began. The figures are valid up to 5pm yesterday.

As of Friday 29 May at 5:21pm there have been 451 coronavirus cases in Swindon and 528 in Wiltshire. These figures are split by local authority.

UK-wide as of 9am on 29 May, there have been 4,043,686 tests, with 131,458 tests on 28 May.

271,222 people have tested positive. An increase of 2,095 since the day before.

As of 5pm on 28 May, of those tested positive for coronavirus in the UK, 38,161 have died, an increase of 324 since the day before. This new figure includes deaths in all settings, not just in hospitals. The equivalent figure under the old measure would have been 30,564.
