The latest report from NHS England has revealed that no deaths from covid have been reported at Great Western Hospital in the last 24 hours. It is a day since the last such deaths were reported. This means the coronavirus death toll at Great Western Hospital since the start of the outbreak remains at 294. These figures are correct up to 4pm yesterday.
As of 4pm today there have been 21 new confirmed coronavirus cases reported in the last 24 hours in Swindon, meaning the total has risen to 10,117 confirmed cases since the start of the outbreak. In the last seven days there have been 199 new confirmed cases in Swindon. In Wiltshire there have been 50 new cases in the past 24 hours, meaning the number of people who have tested positive in Wiltshire is 15,655. This means that in the last seven days there have been 566 new confirmed cases in Wiltshire. These figures are split by local authority. Please note that these new cases are the figures reported by Public Health England and do not take into account delays in the return of positive test results.
As of 9am on 16 February, 4,058,468 people have tested positive for coronavirus in the UK. This is a rise of 10,625 positive tests in the last 24 hours.
As of 5pm on 15 February, of those tested positive for coronavirus in the UK who died within 28 days of their test, 118,195 have died across all settings. This is an increase of 799.
