November 30 update: Swindon records 92 further covid cases

The latest report from NHS England has revealed that a death from covid has been reported at Great Western Hospital. According to the data, it occurred on 26 November. It has been five days since the last such deaths were reported. This means the coronavirus death toll at Great Western Hospital since the start of the outbreak has risen to 386. These figures are correct up to 4pm on 29 November.

According to the data released today at 4pm, there were 92 new confirmed coronavirus cases reported in the previous 24 hours in Swindon, meaning the total rose to 32,333 confirmed cases since the start of the outbreak. In the previous seven days there were 731 new confirmed cases in Swindon. In Wiltshire there had been 363 new cases in the previous 24 hours, meaning the number of people who had tested positive in Wiltshire was 63,154. This meant that in the previous seven days there had been been 2,596 new confirmed cases in Wiltshire. 

All figures are split by local authority. Please note that new cases are the figures reported by Public Health England and do not take into account delays in the return of positive test results.
 

As of 9am on 30 November, 10,228,772 people had tested positive for coronavirus in the UK. This was a rise of 39,716 positive tests in the past 24 hours.

As of 5pm on 29 November, of those tested positive for coronavirus in the UK who died within 28 days of their test, 144,969 had died across all settings. This was an increase of 159.
