June 19 and 20 weekend update: Total of 36 new Swindon covid cases

As of 14 May, local details of covid deaths and related data are published every weekday rather than every day. The next update regarding Great Western Hospital will therefore appear later today, Monday, 21 June, and its official total remains at 323.

According to the data released on Saturday, 19 June, there were 13 new confirmed coronavirus cases reported in the previous 24 hours in Swindon, meaning the total rose to 11,885 confirmed cases since the start of the outbreak. In the previous seven days there were 125 new confirmed cases in Swindon. In Wiltshire there had been 47 new cases in the previous 24 hours, meaning the number of people who had tested positive in Wiltshire was 17,910. This meant that in the previous seven days there had been been 239 new confirmed cases in Wiltshire. 

According to the data released on Sunday, 13 June, there were 23 new confirmed coronavirus cases reported in the previous 24 hours in Swindon, meaning the total rose to 11,908 confirmed cases since the start of the outbreak. In the previous seven days there were 136 new confirmed cases in Swindon. In Wiltshire there had been 37 new cases in the previous 24 hours, meaning the number of people who had tested positive in Wiltshire was 17,947. This meant that in the previous seven days there had been been 252 new confirmed cases in Wiltshire. 

All figures are split by local authority. Please note that new cases are the figures reported by Public Health England and do not take into account delays in the return of positive test results.

As of 9am on 12 June, 4,620,968 people had tested positive for coronavirus in the UK. This was a rise of 10,321 positive tests in the past 24 hours.

As of 9am on 13 June, 4,630,040 people had tested positive for coronavirus in the UK. This was a rise of 9,284 positive tests in the past 24 hours.

As of 5pm on 12 June, of those tested positive for coronavirus in the UK who died within 28 days of their test, 127,970 had died across all settings. This was an increase of 14.

As of 5pm on 13 June, of those tested positive for coronavirus in the UK who died within 28 days of their test, 127,976 had died across all settings. This was an increase of 6.
