According to the data released on Saturday, 25 September, there were 174 new confirmed coronavirus cases reported in the previous 24 hours in Swindon, meaning the total rose to 21,587 confirmed cases since the start of the outbreak. In the previous seven days there were 887 new confirmed cases in Swindon. In Wiltshire there had been 238 new cases in the previous 24 hours, meaning the number of people who had tested positive in Wiltshire was 37,189. This meant that in the previous seven days there had been been 1,630 new confirmed cases in Wiltshire.
According to the data released on Sunday, 26 September, there were 115 new confirmed coronavirus cases reported in the previous 24 hours in Swindon, meaning the total rose to 21,702 confirmed cases since the start of the outbreak. In the previous seven days there were 850 new confirmed cases in Swindon. In Wiltshire there had been 283 new cases in the previous 24 hours, meaning the number of people who had tested positive in Wiltshire was 37,472. This meant that in the previous seven days there had been been 1,655 new confirmed cases in Wiltshire.

As of 5pm on 25 September, of those tested positive for coronavirus in the UK who died within 28 days of their test, 136,168 had died across all settings. This was an increase of 58.
