November 20 and 21 weekend update: Total of 207 new Swindon covid cases

As of 14 May, local details of covid deaths and related data are published every weekday rather than every day. The next update regarding Great Western Hospital will therefore appear later today, Monday, 22 November, and its official total remains at 381.

According to the data released on Saturday, 20 November, there were 129 new confirmed coronavirus cases reported in the previous 24 hours in Swindon, meaning the total rose to 31,278 confirmed cases since the start of the outbreak. In the previous seven days there were 850 new confirmed cases in Swindon. In Wiltshire there had been 472 new cases in the previous 24 hours, meaning the number of people who had tested positive in Wiltshire was 59,515. This meant that in the previous seven days there had been been 2,901 new confirmed cases in Wiltshire. 
 
According to the data released on Sunday, 21 November, there were 78 new confirmed coronavirus cases reported in the previous 24 hours in Swindon, meaning the total rose to 31,356 confirmed cases since the start of the outbreak. In the previous seven days there were 789 new confirmed cases in Swindon. In Wiltshire there had been 357 new cases in the previous 24 hours, meaning the number of people who had tested positive in Wiltshire was 59,872. This meant that in the previous seven days there had been been 2,926 new confirmed cases in Wiltshire. 
 
 
All figures are split by local authority. Please note that new cases are the figures reported by Public Health England and do not take into account delays in the return of positive test results.
 

As of 9am on 20 November, 9,806,034 people had tested positive for coronavirus in the UK. This was a rise of 40,941 positive tests in the past 24 hours.

As of 9am on 21 November, 9,845,492 people had tested positive for coronavirus in the UK. This was a rise of 40,004 positive tests in the past 24 hours.

As of 5pm on 19 November, of those tested positive for coronavirus in the UK who died within 28 days of their test, 143,866 had died across all settings. This was an increase of 150.

As of 5pm on 20 November, of those tested positive for coronavirus in the UK who died within 28 days of their test, 143,927 had died across all settings. This was an increase of 61.
